On my 30th birthday I quit my job, packed up all of my posessions into storage, handed the keys back for my flat, and walked away from the life I had…

Between the 24 September 2011 and 10 March 2012, I walked over 1500 miles from John O’Groats to Land’s End, via all 16 of Cancer Research UK’s Centres of Excellence, becoming the first person ever to do so.  With just a tent, a rucksack and no support team other than an online following that I built along the way, I relied on the kindness of strangers and friends alike to help me keep going.


At each research centre that I visited I met and filmed the men and women that work there. The people that are involved in the scientific research that Cancer Research UK funds.
